Billing and Insurance

Triangle Aftercare is a Provider for most insurance companies licensed within the state of North Carolina. We have contracts with the following companies:

There are also other Insurance Companies that Triangle Aftercare can bill that may not require a contract to do so. Please call us to see if we can bill your insurance for you.

Triangle Aftercare will help our patients during every step of the sometimes arduous insurance process. We will secure the orders from a physician and work with the patient to determine what type of equipment their insurance will and will not cover. We will file the claims and follow-up in case of a denial by an insurance that we feel is unjustified.

Triangle Aftercare will accept assignment on many claims. What this means is that Triangle will accept what the insurance company is willing to pay and only collect the relevant deductible and co-pay from the patient if they are due. Triangle’s staff will work with our patients or referral sources to determine the likelihood of insurance reimbursement and make decisions with the patient or the referral source concerning payment for an item prior to filing the claim.

We are often confronted with the situation where a patient’s physician has told the patient that a piece of equipment is needed. Unfortunately, this no longer guarantees that the equipment will be paid by the insurance company. With escalating health care costs, the insurance companies are paying for fewer and fewer items. At Triangle Aftercare, we understand what companies will pay for, and it is our goal to help our patients optimize their insurance dollars to receive everything that they are reasonably owed.

We are committed to helping our patients get the proper equipment and care that they need. Whether we make a sale or not, our goal is always to make sure the customer leaves satisfied.
